BAKSO IS A POPULER INDONESIA

Bakso is a popular Indonesian meatball soup that is made with a variety of ingredients, including ground beef, chicken, or fish. Here is a recipe that you can use to make bakso at home:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) of ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of tapioca starch
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 4 cups (1 liter) of beef broth
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of water
  • 2 stalks of celery, finely diced
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 4 green onions, finely sliced

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, tapioca starch, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until well combined. Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  2. Bring the beef broth and water to a boil in a large pot over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and add the celery, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the meatballs to the pot and simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  4. Serve the bakso hot, garnished with green onions. Enjoy!
